Teddy Bear Drive – July 11-15, 2022

We are on a mission to collect 100 teddy bears to provide to children from Saskatchewan who will be travelling out of province for heart surgery!

This iniative is in partnership with the “I ❤️  Bear Hugs” project created by Siena, a 10 year old heart hero. Her goal is to ensure that every child who travels for heart surgery is not alone, and gets extra hugs from their own special bear – just like she did 9 years ago.

Thank you to the Western Canadian Children’s Heart Network for supporting this project.

THANK YOU! We received over 200 teddy bears to support heart children in Saskatchewan!!

    Gathering of Remembrance at Treeternity

    Saturday June 8, 2019

This event was to honour and remember all the heart heroes that have passed away too soon. ❤️ The Mending Little Hearts Fund of Saskatchewan was very proud to sponsor this event! Families were given the opportunity to have their child’s name read with a picture of their child displayed, as well as ribbons to tie on the tree in memory of their child. Refreshments and dainties were provided with the opportunity for families to connect and visit. This tree can now be a place that families can visit for years to come.

    A note from Pediatric Cardiology:

Your child had an unforgettable impact on us while in our care. We wanted to acknowledge your child’s passing with a commemorative service where a tree was planted at Treeternity Memorial Forest and butterflies were released in their memory. This was a non-religious service; we simply wanted to acknowledge the passing of the special children who were entrusted to us.
