We are pleased to announce that we now have a website!
The Mending Little Hearts Fund is proud to announce that we now have a website! That means heart families, study participants, and supporters, now have a go-to resource for all things to do with Mending Little Hearts!
Our History
Mending Little Hearts grew from need to for financial support for heart families in Saskatchewan and works alongside the Little Hearts Family Group (LHFG). While the LHFG works to provide support for local heart families, The Mending Little Hearts Fund of Saskatchewan, is a designated charitable fund, created in partnership with the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan. This fund allows you to make directed donations toward addressing the unmet needs of children living with heart conditions from across Saskatchewan.
Finding the Information You Need
We wanted to create a website that had the important information you need at your fingertips. We worked with the local team from Trusted Marketing Services to build a useful, scalable, and nice looking site. We were really happy with the process and hav enjoyed building out our online presence through content and information about our growing organization. You can read up on our organization and our dynamic team on their respective pages.
Also, we have all the information you need for our largest event – the Summer and Winter CHAMPS Camp. Here you can read up on how it came to be and how to get involved. In addition, our largest fundraising event the Heartbeat Run has its own page so you can register for next year’s run!
The research team of the Mending Little Hearts Fund is made up of doctors and researchers from the Children’s Healthy Heart Monitoring Program in Saskatchewan – or CHAMPS program. Our Research team is always sharing the results of interesting studies they are working on and looking for their next study participants on the Research section of the new site!
Watch this space as we continue to add new and informative content about the Mending Little Hearts Fund.
